Richard Butler is an ARB registered Architect and a Chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. The practice is based on Hayling Island, Hampshire close to where he grew up. The practice has a focus on well designed, high quality, remodelled, extended and new-build contemporary homes.

Richard gained a wealth of experience on a variety of successful projects at design-led architectural practices in London and more recently enjoyed ten years with Lymington-based John Pardey Architects where he worked as lead architect helping to design and deliver a number of award winning one-off houses.

The practice offers a broad range of architectural services from concept to completion on a fixed fee or hourly rate basis. The practice aims to meet the client brief, to respond sensitively to each site with the highest standards of design and attention to detail, and to remain on time and within budget.

Richard’s qualifications include a First Class Honours Degree in Architecture, a Diploma in Architecture with Distinction as well as a Degree in Accountancy. Outside the world of design, Richard has a passion for rowing, sailing and windsurfing.
